Together with the German Tourism Association (DTV), we cordially invite you to a webinar on March 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. In this webinar, we will present the key findings from the 2025 Tourism Acceptance Surveys, put them into context, and discuss them with you.

In 2025, a quarterly survey of attitudes toward tourism was conducted for the first time at the federal level, supplemented by additional questions to provide a more nuanced analysis—for example, based on the Sinus-Milieus and depending on party affiliation (based on opinion polls regarding voting behavior).

  • Were we able to maintain the positive trend from the previous year, or did we even manage to increase acceptance even further?
  • Which groups of guests are perceived as too many, and which as too few?
  • Can seasonal variations in tourism acceptance be statistically demonstrated?
  • And is it possible to identify demographic groups that have a particularly positive or negative attitude toward tourism?

These and other questions will be the focus of the webinar. We would love to take this opportunity to talk with you about your experiences in your region. We look forward to your participation!

Destination managers are increasingly recognizing that it is necessary for successful destination development to take into account the attitudes of residents towards tourism in their place of residence.
