This year’s Tourism Day Schleswig-Holstein will take place in Kiel on Thursday, November 27, 2025 .

The Tourism Day Schleswig-Holstein is an annual industry meeting of the IHK Schleswig-Holstein and is supported by the Hotel- und Gaststättenverband DEHOGA Schleswig-Holstein e.V., the German Institute for Tourism Research (FH Westküste University of Applied Sciences), the Tourismus-Agentur Schleswig-Holstein GmbH and the Tourismusverband Schleswig-Holstein e.V..

Experience spaces are a key factor for the attractiveness and sustainability of tourism locations. How can we create spaces for experiences that inspire guests, strengthen tourism in Schleswig-Holstein and contribute to the long-term sustainability of our regions?

This question is the focus of this year’s Tourism Day. The design of authentic and innovative experience spaces – together with strong partners from politics, science and business. Cooperation, creative ideas and sustainable concepts are the key.

Together we want to find ways in which the design of adventure spaces can contribute to the economic development and strengthening of Schleswig-Holstein as a tourist location.
