Taking responsibility and (intrinsic) commitment are fundamental to the necessary sustainability transformation. With movements such as "Friday for Future", Gen Z is seen as a beacon of hope - what drives them to volunteer? What measures and interventions can help to further strengthen this motivation? And how does it compare internationally? An extensive research project with partners in New Zealand should provide answers to these questions!

The German Institute for Tourism Research (DI Tourismusforschung) and the Institute for the Transformation of the Energy System (ITE) at the FH Westküste University of Applied Sciences are working on a joint project with the Federal Association of the Camping Industry in Germany (BVCD) on the regenerative orientation of campsite energy systems.
