Project description

The overarching aim of the research project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection, is to contribute to more sustainable tourism development by equalizing visitor flows. The German Institute for Tourism Research is responsible for the work packages “Frequency measurement (data generation & sensor technology)” and “Smart Destination Integration” in the project.
