Second guide to digital visitor management published as part of the LAB-TOUR SH joint research project
After the first guidebook on digital visitor management was published a few weeks ago, the second guidebook on “Data generation as the basis for digital visitor management” has now been published as part of the research project “State-wide digital visitor management for tourism in Schleswig-Holstein (LAB-TOUR SH)”. Further guides will follow in the coming weeks and can be downloaded from the Zenodo community page. The collaboration with Kiel University of Applied Sciences, Addix GmbH and Lufthansa Industry Solutions GmbH & Co KG has already provided important insights into different data sources and their suitability and relevance for digital visitor management. The second guide provides an overview of the basics of data generation, including the different measurement systems and possible stumbling blocks that need to be considered at an early stage when implementing digital visitor management. The LAB-TOUR SH project started at the beginning of 2022 and is funded until the end of June 2023 by the European Recovery Fund for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe (REACT-EU) as part of the Operational Program of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in Schleswig-Holstein.
